Professional Services

Central Orthotics provides orthotic assessments, orthotic manufacturing, fitting services, and related products. Recommendations and treatments are based on the information provided during your assessment and are intended to support your individual needs.

Appointments

Appointments may be requested online, by phone, or in person.

If you are unable to attend your appointment, please provide as much notice as possible. Missed appointments or cancellations with insufficient notice may incur a cancellation fee.

Custom Orthotics

Custom orthotics are manufactured specifically for each individual based on clinical assessments, measurements, scans, casts, and other information provided.

As custom-made medical devices, orthotics cannot be returned for a refund simply because they are no longer required, preferences have changed, or expectations differ from the clinical recommendation.

We recommend attending any scheduled fitting or review appointments to ensure optimal fit and function.

Product Lifespan and Wear

The lifespan of orthotics varies depending on materials, usage, activity levels, footwear, body weight, and general wear and tear.

Any manufacturer warranties apply only to defects in materials or workmanship and do not cover normal wear, misuse, accidental damage, or modifications made by others.

Payments

Payment is required in accordance with the terms provided at the time of consultation, product purchase, or service delivery.

Funded services may require appropriate referrals and approval from the relevant funding agency.

Health Information

Clients are responsible for providing accurate and complete information regarding their medical history, current health conditions, medications, and any changes that may affect treatment.

Failure to provide relevant information may impact the effectiveness of recommendations or devices supplied.

Insurance Claims

Where applicable, Central Orthotics can provide invoices and supporting documentation for insurance claims. Approval and reimbursement remain the responsibility of the insurer and policyholder.

Orders

Shipping and Delivery

Estimated delivery times are provided as a guide only. Central Orthotics is not responsible for delays caused by courier services, weather events, supply chain disruptions, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Risk and ownership of products pass to the customer upon delivery.

Returns and Exchanges

Under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and Fair Trading Act 1986, customers are entitled to remedies where products are faulty, not fit for purpose, or do not match their description.

For hygiene and health reasons, certain products may not be eligible for return unless faulty.

Custom-made orthotics and personalised products cannot be returned or exchanged simply due to a change of mind.

If you believe a product is faulty, please contact us as soon as possible so we can assess the issue and determine an appropriate remedy.

Change of Mind

We do not guarantee refunds or exchanges for change-of-mind purchases. Any such requests will be considered at our discretion and may be subject to the product being unused, in its original packaging, and in resalable condition.

Promotional Offers

Promotions, discounts, and special offers are subject to specific terms and may be modified or withdrawn without notice.
